Welcome to AMK Surfacing and Civils. We currently have three generations of the same founding family working within the company, who share a common vision of complete customer satisfaction, high quality workmanship, and a desire to be as efficient, professional, safe, and cost effective as possible.
Back in 1981 our main focus was high quality security fencing and the construction of tennis courts. Since then, through constant development and an incredibly loyal customer base, we have developed our services to include high quality, high security fencing that meets applicable UK and European quality standards. Manual and automated gates, sports ground construction, paving and tarmacadam works, road and car park construction, specialist surfacing installation such as AstroTurf, non-slip tarmacadam surfacing, and playground installation.
We have our very own welding and fabrication shop on site in Sheffield, with a team of incredibly skilled people, meaning our fencing and gates are designed and manufactured with great precision, allowing us to meet your projects exact requirements, regardless of its size or scale.

All our employees are fully trained and have a vast amount of experience. This means that the quality of workmanship on every job, regardless of size or scale, is completed to the highest possible standards.
In addition to this, our entire workforce is DBS checked and carry identification at all times. This means that we are able to work safely and securely on parks and amenities, housing schemes, nurseries and schools, railways, defence installations, industrial sites, electric / gas sites and hospital sites to name but a few.
